The project ”The Place of Geometric Shapes in Our Lives and Their Different Use” brought real benefits to the students of Secondary School No. 7 Petroșani. Through this project, the students guided by their teachers - Mikloș Mihaela and Haiduc Laura - identified the tangents of mathematics with real life, various objects, constructions that have the shapes of the studied geometric figures.
The joint activities brought a lot of joy, the students comparing the results of their work with that of their Turkish colleagues.
The robot toys made, the joint reading of the project book, the math traffic game, all brought the students a desire to learn and the opportunity to apply the knowledge in everyday life.
The conclusion was unanimous: teamwork has the same result in different cultures and everything in life is geometry!
